Food glorious food!

There's nothing like rowing across the Indian Ocean to work up an appetite and the next priority after a beer was food! As they were getting off the boat the crew members mentioned they could smell chips so first order was burger and chips all round.

The other thing they all wanted was steak so that night we went to a fantastic restaurant The Garden Grill in Grand Baie. It was a LONG wait made to feel even longer as we could see our steaks being slow cooked, but was worth the wait. I can't believe how much Ben ate and Chris ended up in a food coma!

The following morning we went to an amazing Boulangerie around the corenr from us. Le Fournil (named after Liverpool's victory over Manchester United in April 2022, I believe) does amazing bread, pastries and coffee. Ben and Chris stocked up on the carbs!

That night we went to another amazing restaurant La Cabane de Jules. It's a measure of how much weight Chris has lost that the calzone that Chris ate looks enormous next to him!
