Goldie starts her journey home!

Yesterday Goldie was craned onto a lorry to start her journey back to the UK. A purpose-built wooden cradle awaits her at Port Louis, before she will be put into a shipping container and loaded onto a ship departing for the UK to start her next adventures.

She is an amazing boat and kept the crew safe despite horrendous sea conditions and some very big waves. She did not roll once! Thanks Billy for allowing Chris and the crew to user her and thanks again to Grand Baie Yacht Club for storing and looking after her since her arrival.
