Rivers and Oceans
Indi Row 23 took their boat out recently on the Indian Ocean from Mindarie and on the Swan River
Training rows are crucial for understanding the dynamics of the boat, they also provide an opportunity to test systems on the boat. We are very fortunate to have access to my local marina in Mindarie and easy access to the Swam River to practice rowing. A good friend Pete Schmidt has stepped in to row the boat with me as we wait for the borders to open to the Eastern States, thus allowing Lincoln and Ben to travel to WA to get in some much needed rowing. Pete has been great to have on the boat, and yesterday was tough on the River rowing head to wind.
The boat is amazing, strong and light with a great electronic package. We are still to test the water maker out, kindly loaned from the guys at Nautilus Marine, a UK company. We are looking forward to getting Goldie (her temporary name until we find a Title Sponsor.
