When the weather's abominable you can rely on Yeti gear!
Updated: May 21
Update from Chris: Day 11, man this ocean is bad ass! We have found ourselves fighting some strong South Easterly current and Northerly winds the past 24hrs, and heavy rain lashing the Indi Row team on deck.
Twice now we have reverted to the para anchor, and we lose ground every time. However, it will swing around and the winds will change to our advantage.
We use our para anchor, which is like a large parachute to slow our drift backwards. Its effect has been limited thus far due to the strong running currents. But we had found today that we lose more ground rowing.

The weather may be awful, but the crew are grateful for their Yeti drink containers which keep their tea and coffee hot for hours!
