When you have time on your hands you want a nice watch on your wrist!

Hello everyone! As I sat this morning watching the sunrise, I cast my thoughts to the journey so far, particularly our very first sponsor.

When I first set out to start this project off, I wanted to get a watch manufacturer onboard, especially an Australian watch maker. I did a quick Google search and found Adina Watches, based in Brisbane whose beautiful watches are hand crafted in Australia. They were perfect. I dropped Grant Robert Menzies, the owner, an email about the venture and he was onboard and eager to support without hesitation.

Grant has made the crew an Indian Ocean Row branded watch and has given us additional watches to auction off to aid the fundraising effort.
